Joann Harris was born in Durham, North Carolina and has three wonderful children. She started writing little stories at the tender age of nine-years-old. She first became fascinated with horror at the age of nineteen. She found fearful reactions fueled her desire to create more outrageous stories of murder, violence, and suspense. Horror is a realm of fantasy that opens endless doors of escape from the everyday humdrum of life.
